Job Title: Year 6 Teaching Assistant

Randstad Education is working with a supportive primary school in Sefton to recruit a dedicated and reliable Teaching Assistant for a Year 6 class. This term-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on students' academic journeys.

Your Role: Key Responsibilities

Support Learning - Help Year 6 pupils stay focused, motivated, and engaged in their studies.
Assist Teaching - Work closely with teachers to deliver creative, curriculum-aligned lessons.
Provide Individual Support - Work with small groups or one-on-one to reinforce key concepts and boost understanding.
Encourage Positive Behaviour - Help manage classroom activities, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Prepare for Key Milestones - Support students as they prepare for SATs and the transition to secondary school.
Build Relationships - Foster strong connections with students, parents, and staff.

What We're Looking For

UK school experience is essential.
Previous experience working with primary school students (ideally Year 6).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A patient and supportive approach to learning.
A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
