About the role:

We seek a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. This part-time role involves working closely with EAL (English as an Additional Language) students, helping them to overcome language barriers and thrive academically. You will work 3 days per week, supporting students with their language development and general classroom activities.

This position has become available due to our expanding team and increasing number of EAL students. With class sizes kept small to ensure individual attention, you will play a crucial role in boosting our students’ confidence and academic performance. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Application Requirements:

• A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable.

• Experience working with Key Stage 2 students, particularly those with EAL needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient and empathetic approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the educational and social development of EAL students.

• Support the class teacher in the delivery of tailored lessons.

• Help to create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.

• Monitor and report on the progress of individual students.
