Mechanical Supervisor
Northampton
£50 - £55,000 per annum

Our client is a fast growing building services contractor, with a full order book and exciting plans through 2025 and beyond. They now have a need position for a Mechanical Supervisor to join the Mechanical business, predominantly to service a major clients Northampton office M&E project works. The role will be predominantly focused to the clients premises in Northampton, but as the projects develop, this may well result in travel further afield as the business requires. 

The immediate requirement for the Mechanical Supervisor on site in Northampton is to supervise the replacement of existing end of life AHU’s & Toilet Extract systems over a phased replacement. Construction is already underway on this project.  

Reporting to the project manager, duties will include supervising specialist mechanical sub contractors, ensuring health and safety standards are maintained and that work is carried out in line with the site programme. Overseeing HSE activities including RAMs, RAMs Assessments, Inductions, Toolbox talks, Plant inspections etc

The ideal candidate will be from a contracting background, with formal qualifications in a mechanical trade, and hold either the SSSTS or SMSTS certificate.

On offer is a permanent position, paying a basic salary of between £50 - £55,000 per annum, travel allowance/vehicle, private healthcare and pension.
