Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer.
Location: Derby, East Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £ 24k- £38k + Training + Benefits

We are working closely with a nationally recognised Water Hygiene / Legionella Management company with a strong presence in the Midlands region. They are now seeking to take on a diligent Water Hygiene/ Remedial Engineer in the Midlands region. The successful candidate will hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing and will have experience working on Care Home, Healthcare, Educational, Retail, and Leisure sites. You will be carrying out deadleg removals, replacing, and re-routing of PVC and copper pipework alongside L8 compliance duties including water sampling, temperature monitoring and TMV servicing.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Stoke-on-Trent, Beeston, Nottingham, Market Harborough, Corby, Kettering, Melton Mowbray, Loughborough, Burton upon Trent, Lichfield, Tamworth, Walsall, Stafford, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Telford, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Solihull.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing.
" Experience working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer for a reputable Water Hygiene/ Legionella company.
" Well versed in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Good IT skills.
" Excellent time keeping skills.
" Experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites.

The Role:
" Legionella sampling and temperature monitoring.
" CWST cleans, chlorination, installs, and removals.
" Installation of POU heaters.
" Unvented cylinder installs and servicing. (If G3 ticket held.)
" TMV servicing, installation, and repairing.
" Deadleg removals.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Carrying out fault finding on site, ensuring to rectify in a timely manner.
" Replacing and rerouting of PCV and copper pipework
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
" Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guideline.
