About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time KS1 Teacher to join our team in Brent, starting as soon as possible. This position arises due to an exciting expansion of our faculty, offering flexibility with a supportive school schedule. The successful candidate will engage with a class of mixed-ability students, including those with SEN needs, supported by a Teaching Assistant in class.

Application Requirements:

• Ability to plan, teach, and assess effectively a range of pupils, including those working below the national curriculum level.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience or interest in Key Stage 1 teaching.

• Ability to establish a positive learning environment which promotes good relationships and high standards of behaviour and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of Key Stage 1 students.

• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and positive behavior management strategies.

• Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to differentiate instruction and provide targeted support to students, including those with SEN needs.

• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessment methods, and use data to inform instructional practices.
