Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Unqualified Teacher to support and inspire students in their academic and personal development. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and considering a career in teaching, with the potential for training and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons under the guidance of qualified teachers, following the school’s curriculum and teaching standards.
* Support and manage classroom behavior, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
* Assist in assessing student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them reach their learning objectives.
* Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, playgrounds, and on school trips.
* Work closely with teachers and support staff to address individual learning needs, tailoring lessons to engage and support all students.
* Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, contributing to the school's supportive community.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
The safety and well-being of our students are our top priorities. The successful candidate will:
* Follow all school safeguarding and child protection policies, actively promoting student welfare.
* Report any concerns promptly to the designated safeguarding lead in line with school procedures.
* Undergo a satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check prior to starting the role.
Experience and Requirements
* Previous experience working with children in a school, tutoring, or similar educational setting.
* A passion for working with young people, with a strong commitment to student development.
* Basic understanding of safeguarding practices in an educational environment (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in a fast-paced school environment.
