Head of Cable Jointing

Alecto Recruitment is recruiting on a superb position for a Head of Jointing.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established specialist across Utility connections and Civil Engineering.

Due to their continued growth, they are recruiting for a Head of jointing.

The Role:

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost effective planning for teams ensuring they are adequately scheduled for current jointing projects
Responsible for ensuring teams are working safely, they are adequately trained and that they have the required plant, equipment and materials to effectively execute their roles
Directly responsible for the safety, quality and technical standard of work
Ensuring compliance for yourself and your teams with all legal, regulatory and client requirements at all times
Develop, coach and motivate your teams

Requirements:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced team manager or an aspiring craftsperson who is looking to take the next steps in their career.
Experienced Low voltage (LV) Cable Jointer
Ideally you will have some on-site team management or supervising expertise
Experience managing faults on the Low voltage network would be advantageous
Experienced cable jointing up to 11KV
Any experience cable jointing above 11kv is an advantage but not essential

Salary:

£65,000 - £75,000
