Tripod Partners are looking for a Band 7 Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join the Staffordshire STaRs team, delivering vital clinical interventions for individuals accessing substance misuse services. The successful candidate will have experience in prescribing for both alcohol and opiate substitution treatment and will be confident running their own clinic following induction.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver clinical interventions and prescribe treatments for service users with drug and alcohol dependency.

*

Conduct clinical reviews of prescribed clients and manage treatment plans.

*

Support pathways around BBVs, needle exchange (NSP), and detox/rehab interventions.

*

Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement.

*

Operate clinics independently post-induction.

Position Details:
Location: Across Staffordshire
Duration: 3 months
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00
Pay Rate: £30 per hour
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday

Requirements:

*

NMC or HCPC registered Non-Medical Prescriber.

*

Experience in substance misuse treatment, including alcohol and opiate substitution prescribing.

*

Full UK driving licence (essential).

*

Familiarity with BBV and detox pathways, NSP, and rehab interventions.

*

Previous use of the Illy system desirable (training can be provided).

*

Right to work in the UK
