Quantity Surveyor / Estimator – £35,000.00-£45,000.00 – Aldermaston / Tadley (office based, with site visits as required)

The Role

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a friendly, growing team? Do you have a solid background in cost estimation, contract management, and delivering construction projects?

We’re looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to support our Strategic Works Division. This role focuses primarily on architectural fit-out projects within MOD sites. You'll be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of the projects, from early-stage estimating through to cost control and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating project costs, preparing accurate forecasts and budgets
Preparing, reviewing, and administering contract documentation
Managing subcontractor selection, pricing, and documentation
Monitoring project cash flow, cost reporting and financial progress
Conducting risk assessments and cost-risk analysis
Ensuring compliance with relevant construction legislation
Supporting procurement activities, including negotiating with suppliers
Attending site visits and liaising with project stakeholders
