Temporary GCSE and A-Level Film and Media Teacher

Job Description:
Our client School are seeking a temporary Film and Media Teacher to teach engaging lessons for both GCSE and A-level Film and Media Studies. The successful candidate will be expected to:

Key Responsibilities:

* Teach GCSE and A-level Film and Media Studies to students aged 14-18.

* Design and implement lessons that are engaging, innovative, and academically rigorous.

* Provide regular assessments, feedback, and student support.

* Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and the wider school community.

* Work collaboratively with the department and contribute to school-wide events and initiatives.

Person Criteria:

* A relevant degree in Film Studies, Media Studies, or a related field.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential.

* Proven experience teaching Film and/or Media Studies at GCSE or A-level is desirable.

* A passion for film, media, and education, with a creative and dynamic teaching style.

* Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Experience with exam preparation and delivering extracurricular film/media-related activities.

* A proactive and flexible approach to teaching, with a commitment to student success.
