Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer

Job Type: Days based, Perm

Location: Wokingham

Pay: £18-£20ph DOE

Hours: Core 37.5hrs Flexitime

Our client has been established for over 60 years, specialising in designing, engineering and manufacturing high security products.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a skilled CNC Miller Programmer to join their ever-growing team.

Key responsibilities:
⦁ CNC Programming: Develop, modify, and optimise CNC programmes using Siemens controls for 3-axis and 4-axis XYZ milling machines.
⦁ Machine Setup: Set up and configure tools, fixtures, and materials to ensure efficient machining operations.
⦁ Operation: Operate milling machines to produce components to exact specifications, ensuring all tolerances and surface finish requirements are met.
⦁ Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as micrometers to calipers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
⦁ Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve programming, tooling, and operational issues to maintain production efficiency and accuracy.
⦁ Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements to enhance machining efficiency, reduce waste, and improve workflow.
