Solar Electrician, Improver or Mate required to work around the Gloucester area.

My client is happy to take on a Domestic electrician if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic electrical work. Solar is more niche and full training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

* Install string cables onto photovoltaic (PV) array tables.

* Terminate DC mains cables at combiner boxes and inverter stations.

* Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes.

* Terminate communication cables (RS485, CAT5, CAT6).

Skills & Qualifications required:

* Training will be provided

* ECS card (of some grading)

* 1- 2+ years’ experience

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification, not essential

* Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work (solar experience is a bonus).

* Full UK driving license.

* Working hours; 7am-5pm with an hour for lunch, Mons-Thurs, 7am-2pm on Fridays. Overtime will be paid, 1x3 weekend work.
