We are currently looking for Surface Mount Assemblers in Wokingham.

Rate - £30k / £32k

Monday - Friday - Dayshift

Wokingham, Berkshire

If you're someone who:

SMD: You possess a deep understanding of surface mount technology and have a proven track record of producing flawless assemblies.
Component identification: You can identify components with ease and precision, ensuring accuracy in every placement.
IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 You're fully conversant with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards and consistently deliver work that meets or exceeds these 9daysift
Soldering: You're comfortable and confident performing both through-hole and surface mount hand soldering to a high standard, producing clean and reliable joints.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment: You're a self-starter who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately.
Takes pride in your work: You're meticulous, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional quality.
Deadlines: Capable of working to tight deadlines, constantly providing a high level of accuracy.
Enjoys being part of a close-knit team: You're a team player who values collaboration and open communication.

Your responsibilities will include:

Performing manual component placement and soldering to IPC-A-610 standards.
PCB modification - i.e. cut track, wire links etc
Inspecting and verifying the quality of assembled boards.
Maintaining accurate records of work performed.
