About the Company:
Our client is a leading recycling and waste management business known for their commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. They are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic SHEQ Manager to lead their Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) strategy, ensuring the highest standards across their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, implement, and manage the company’s SHEQ strategy in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

* Lead and promote a strong SHEQ culture across the organisation, fostering a safe and environmentally responsible working environment.

* Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections across all sites to ensure compliance with SHEQ legislation and industry best practices.

* Oversee incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and the implementation of effective corrective actions.

* Provide expert guidance and training to employees on SHEQ policies, procedures, and practices.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SHEQ considerations into all aspects of the business.

* Monitor, analyse, and report on SHEQ performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

* Ensure all SHEQ documentation is accurately maintained and up-to-date.

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience in a SHEQ role within the Manufacturing, Warehousing, or Plant industries.

* Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation, standards, and industry best practices.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

* Diploma level qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not essential.

* Proactive and results-driven, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
