TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school in the North Tyneside area. The school is continually looking to develop opportunities for learning that are adventurous, ambitious and exciting. They aim to encourage and focus on children’s developing curiosity, imagination and exploration. The role of the primary teacher in the classroom will be to encourage the children to take an active role in their learning.

The school is looking to take on board a highly driven primary teacher working across both Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The position will be long-term term leading to a permanent position in the school as a primary teacher. The selected applicant will be helping students to reach their full potential in all areas of the curriculum including core subjects (English and Maths) and foundation subjects (ICT, Art and more,) whilst also developing effective relationships with the children to effectively manage behaviours.

A successful Primary Teacher will have:

QTS or Equivalent qualification (ECT are encouraged to apply)
Experience teaching in classrooms across Key Stage 1 / KS1, Key Stage 2 / KS2 or both
Effective Curriculum Knowledge
Exceptional classroom management skills
