We currently have a great opportunity for a Group Gas Manager to join our in-house maintenance company, Property Plus. We're looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.

The Role

As our Group Gas Manager. you will be responsible and accountable for the team’s gas compliance delivery, in association with all legislative regulations, internal requirements, official guidance standards and best practice, including occupied and non-occupied properties.

Acting as the Subject Matter Expert for all Gas Works for Property Plus, you will be responsible for the development of procedures and policies with regard to legislative requirements to ensure compliance, as well as the provision of advice and guidance on the identification, management and mitigation of risk, safe working practice and procedures. In addition, you will delivery excellent customer experience including high levels of performance and productivity whilst maximising value.

Skills and experience required:

* Fully qualified Gas Engineer (Essential)

* Holder of SMSTS qualification (Desirable)

* Holder of IOSH Managing Safely qualification (Desirable)

* Level 4/5 CIH Qualification in Housing (or working towards/prepared to work towards - Essential)

* Experience of working within a similar role managing a large central heating programme of works

* Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal

* Experience of managing contractor relationships

* Experience of carrying out inspections

* Experience of managing an effective team ensuring compliance.

* Excellent customer care skills and ability to deal with customer complaints and dissatisfaction

* Full UK Driving Licence as travel across our group sites will be required
