GSL Education is seeking a number of passionate and dedicated Politics Teachers to join dynamic secondary schools in Bushey. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an enthusiastic educator who thrives on encouraging critical thinking and debate among students.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach thought-provoking Politics lessons to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
Inspire Students: Foster a love for Politics and an understanding of how the subject applies to current events and societal developments.
Encourage Debate: Promote critical thinking and analytical skills through engaging classroom discussions.
Assess and Monitor Progress: Regularly assess students’ work and provide constructive feedback to help them excel in their studies.
Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with other teachers and staff members to support the overall success of the school.
Support School Values: Uphold the school’s commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Essential Requirements:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification.
Experience teaching Politics to KS4 and KS5 students is preferred.
A strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for Politics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for inspiring students to understand and engage with political systems and current affairs.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Hold an enhanced child work force DBS registered with the online update service, or, willing to apply for a new on through GSL Education.
