Contek Recruitment are currently working with a leading food processing machinery manufacturing company, based in Derbyshire.

They are a leading innovator and manufacturer of automated, high-technology food processing equipment with a worldwide customer base. As part of their rapid growth, they have recently set up an internal laser cutting section, investing in a 4x2m fibre flatbed laser, an 8m fibre tube laser and a 7axis Amada Press.

Due to growth, they are looking for an experienced Fabrication Manager to manage and continuously improve the section. They only cut stainless steels and run one of the cleanest laser shops you will find. This is a fantastic opportunity for career development with the opportunity to grow your skills leading a section using the latest flatbed and tube fibre lasers, 7 axis Amada press, and Lantek CAM software. They only cut for their own machines, and the role is part of the overall team producing the highest quality food processing machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Experienced Fabrication Manager/Team Leader/Supervisor, with proven leadership skills, operating in a safe, efficient working environment.

* Experienced Setting and Operating Laser Cutting and Press Brake Machines.

* Experience with Lantek CAM and Amada software.

* Work quickly and accurately in a precision, high-technology environment.

* Ability to visually quality check work/components.

* Able to read and understand technical drawings.

* Good work ethic, team spirit, and a flexible approach.

* Open to career development and training on other equipment and company departments.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (07:30 AM until 16:30 PM)
