Field Service Engineer

Location: Soham Cambridgeshire

Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday must be completed & you will work 1 in 4 Saturdays. You’ll have the choice to work a full Saturday – paid at £120 + per completed job bonus or half a day paid at £60 + per completed job bonus

Hourly Rate / Salary: £28,000 + Performance Bonus based on jobs completed

Join our client in Soham, Cambridgeshire as a White Goods / Field Service Engineer! With lots of opportunity to earn additional bonusses this is an excellent move for those hungry for high earnings with the autonomy of managing your own day. A field-based role that will require the relevant candidate to have experience in the maintenance, service and repair of various white goods including Washing Machines, Tumble Dryers and Dishwashers. A premium will be paid on salary for Engineers holding the relevant certificates to work on Refrigeration equipment, Electric cookers and Gas cookers.

Job Duties:

* Organising your own diary of appointments with customers

* Creating job orders and updating job orders using the tablet

* Fault finding on domestic appliances

* Problem solving and fixing issues in a timely manner

* Servicing and preventative maintenance

* Reactive repairs on faulty goods

* Working on Washing machines, tumble dryers, fridges, dishwashers, cookers and microwaves

What we are looking for:

* 3 years minimum experience in domestic appliance / white good repairs

* Self motivation and able to work without instruction

* Great communication skills

* Someone who takes pride in customer service

* Full UK Driving Licence – over the age of 25 for insurance
