CNC Miller – Setter Operator

Our client is a contract manufacturing company who specialise in the manufacture of high volume, low value components alongside bespoke prototype work for the racing car industry and the military. Duration: Permanent

Location: CB24, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £14.00 - £17.00 per hour + Overtime

Duties To Include:

* Operating 3,4 & 5 axis Hurco CNC Milling machines

* Making minor adjustments to Fanuc and Windmac programs

* Check and maintain tooling in the machine shop

* Quality control of manufactured parts

* Use of various measuring equipment

* Carrying our regular maintenance of machines

Skills and Experience Required:

* Previous experience operating and setting CNC Milling machine

* Ability or experience in making minor adjustments to programs on Fanuc / Windmac

* Confident to work to tight tolerances when required

* Ability to work independently

* You would have worked with different materials (Aluminium is preferred)

* Experience with working on online programming
