Aspire Jobs are delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a well-established and reputable distributor of Catering and Hospitality consumables to the food service market.

Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for an experienced Regional Account Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for closely managing a high value portfolio of key accounts. Some travel within the assigned area with occasional overnight stays, although your base will be their office in Ringwood, Hampshire. The role is mainly looking after existing hospitality business, but you will also be responsible for developing extra revenue streams from within that client base by developing longstanding relationships. The split of account management to sales is approx. 60/40.

This is very much a consultative sales role. You will be dealing with groups of hotels who may come to you when a new location is identified with ideas and ask your bespoke options of what can be done and how this can be achieved.

To be a consideration for this role, you will be able to demonstrate proven sales, business development and Key account management experience and be target driven. You will be professional, confident and able to deal with a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

This role would suit someone who has a hospitality background so would suit an F&B Director, Group Restaurant Manager, Account/Sales Manager from within hotels. You must be able to demonstrate on your CV and at interview your ability to develop key client relationships.

The successful Key Account Manager will be able to:-

* Nurture and develop a portfolio of existing customers through relationship building and support.

* Demonstrate strong account management experience with proven success of growing business from those existing customers.

* Demonstrate consultative selling acumen and refined, confident closing skills.

* Travel and efficiently plan and manage time to achieve targets.

* Effectively manage positive customer experience and deliver exceptional service levels.

* Build strong client relationships and work collaboratively across functions.

* Understand complex customer requirements & build appropriate solutions for customers, offering product advice where needed

* Demonstrate excellent presentation skills and an ability to engage audiences.

* Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have strong organisational skills.

* Actively seek innovative ways to improve processes, products, and the customer experience.

* Demonstrate superior judgement and excel at utilising information to build a business case and enact positive change.

* Understand the hierarchy and culture of customer and supplier organisations and be able to identify the decision makers and influencers.

* Demonstrate the capacity to manage changing priorities and ambiguity while remaining calm and controlled.
