Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Management Accountant to join a dynamic entrepreneurial company on the outskirts of Exeter. You will be joining the business as part of a highly effective finance team as a Management Accountant.

Management Accountant - The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

* Producing timely management accountants.

* Management reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.

* Monthly journal production for various business areas.

* Variance analysis.

* Preparing budgets and forecasts.

* Business partnering stakeholders across the business, providing support and improving financial management.

* Supporting / taking the lead on finance related projects, eg systems improvements

* Identifying potential issues, developing and implementing solutions.

* VAT returns.

Management Accountant - The Rewards:

In return this employer provides an engaging working environment, salary of £44,000 - £50,000pa plus benefits and ongoing support/role development.

Management Accountant - The Person:

* We are keen to hear from qualified accountants (ACA ACCA or CIMA), or similar ‘qualified by experience’ accountants with excellent management accounting experience.

* You will be a self-starter with a desire to work in a fast-paced, change environment where you will be hands on.

* A first-rate communicator able to build effective relationships as well as business partner.

* A natural solutions finder with excellent analytical skills.

* You will be a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative manner with colleagues at all levels in the business.

* Strong IT skills, advanced Excel skills would be useful.
