Job Overview
PS LTD are seeking a Warehouse Manager for our fast-growing company specializing in the distribution of high-quality fresh food and deli items. Ensuring that products reach customers in perfect condition, maintaining the highest standards of quality and freshness.

The Role

As the Warehouse Manager, you will lead a dedicated team to manage the storage, handling, and distribution of perishable goods, ensuring they are delivered on time and in optimal condition.

Hours

* 5 days between Sunday & Friday

* Covering shifts between 8pm-7am (8 hour shifts)

* There is flexibility within which days and times you work.

Duties

* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety and food handling regulations.

* Manage inventory levels, including stock rotation (FIFO), to minimize waste and maintain product freshness.

* Plan and coordinate incoming shipments and outgoing deliveries, ensuring accurate and timely dispatch.

* Lead, train, and motivate the warehouse team to achieve operational excellence.

* Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments to ensure product integrity.

* Implement and maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with industry regulations.

Skills

* This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of the specific challenges of managing fresh and deli products.

* Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in fresh food, deli, or other perishable goods.

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

* Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.

* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

* Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

* Knowledge of temperature-controlled storage practices
