EMKA UK is a wholly owned subsidiary of EMKA Group, the world market leader for locking systems, hinges and sealings used in a wide range of industries and environments. The UK operation is long-established and highly profitable, selling locking solutions on the basis of their reliability, adaptability and availability. The last couple of years has seen the team grow market share across the UK in both the historic client base and new markets, and they have identified a requirement for an individual to join the existing internal sales team, providing administrative and sales support covering a broad range of duties. The role will be based at Head Office but will involve significant interaction with customers and the external sales team across the entire UK.
The broad remit of the role requires an individual with a good range of office based administrative and computer skills, a confident telephone manner and a willingness to want to be involved. The other members of the team all cover a variety of functions, and you may well find yourself involved in different areas at different times of the day. This will likely include order processing, invoicing and credit control, quotation processing, monitoring and analysis, in addition to providing support to the external sales engineers and Managing Director. The senior team would be particularly interested in candidates with some marketing knowledge (either through experience or study) and an active interest in the benefits of AI or ChatGPT to enterpreneurial businesses.
