Mental Health Crisis Support Worker
LOCATION: Bristol
HOURS: 37 hours per week – Some nights required (3 every 6
weeks) 8-4, 9-5, 2-10
Salary: £14.47 inclusive PAYE or £15 Umbrella
DURATION: End of March
START DATE: ASAP
Are you an experienced Mental Health Support Worker looking to work alongside a leading Mental Health & Wellbeing Charity? If so, BRC have a permanent role available in the Bristol area for a Crisis Worker to start ASAP!
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Support a team caseload of low and medium risk service users with severe and enduring mental health needs.
Working with families, carers and friends and be working in a multidisciplinary team and signposting to the appropriate team.
Co-produce, implement and review recovery plan, crisis plan and other self-management tools e.g. Wellness Recovery Action Plan, in partnership with service users in line with best practice
Enable delivery of the recovery plan and to enable service users to make informed decisions about their mental wellbeing, maximising their independence and providing advocacy role where appropriate.
Work in a culturally sensitive way for all service users, tailoring service to meet their individual needs, challenging stigma and discrimination, advocating for person if appropriate, and ensuring up-to-date community knowledge. You will receive from BRC:
