About the role

This is a brilliant opportunity for somebody who is looking for a role that can offer stability and the opportunity to have a real say in the health and safety team. This role has come about due to strategic growth, due to expansion they are now looking for a middle management team and this can progress into a head of health & safety in the long term, there is brilliant long-term progression. Within this role, you will be reporting to the Compliance Director and working very closely with the Operations Director, both Directors are approachable individuals, switched on, and easy to work with.

The projects are mostly in Cumbria and South West Scotland. These projects include factories, new builds, highways diversions and new bridges. Project values up to £35M.

Rewards and Benefits

You will receive a salary of between £45,000 and £50,000 depending on experience. The package will also include a car or a car allowance as well as a pension and private healthcare.

About the requirements

At least 3 years experience working in Health and Safety.

To be considered for any of these positions you’ll be required to have had experience working in Civil Engineering for tier 1 or tier 2 companies with strong stability. It’s important to have worked for each of your previous companies for at least 3 years per company.

A NEBOSH general certificate is vital as is a UK driving license to help you go from one site to another if you’re required
