Hourly Rates: £28 to £31 per hour
Agency: Hunter AHP

This position is on an ongoing basis, with 3/4/5 days per week availability. Previous wards experience is required.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Locum Clinical Pharmacist to join a dynamic NHS hospital in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced clinical setting while gaining invaluable experience with a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert clinical pharmacy services across multiple wards.
Perform medication reviews, ensuring safe, effective, and cost-effective use of medicines.
Offer professional advice to medical staff on drug prescriptions and therapeutic regimens.
Oversee the safe and appropriate use of medicines in the hospital.
Participate in clinical ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Provide education and training to hospital staff on pharmacy-related matters.
Essential Requirements:

Previous experience working in NHS hospital wards.
Registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, particularly in a hospital setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and care.
Desirable:

Experience in the Band 7 role within a clinical hospital setting.
