A Health and Safety Compliance Officer or Manager is required to work for a College, on an initial temporary contract for circa 3 months.
Requirements:
To be professionally responsible for leading Health & Safety, Sustainability and statutory estates compliance across the College provision.
To manage the Health & Safety department and manage the College first aid provision and fire marshal teams.To lead and deliver the Health & Safety agenda.
To provide an effective and efficient service to all College users and to positively influence Health & Safety and statutory compliance across the whole College provision and estate.
To formulate, implement and monitor the corporate health, safety and environmental strategy and to promote and contribute to a safe and sustainable working environment within all areas of the College
Experience:
Qualification in occupational health and safety such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
Experience of developing and implementing strategic health and safety initiatives
Pay rate is determined on level of experience
