Axon Moore are supporting a fast paced and growing business based in West Yorkshire in the appointment an Interim Accountant.

You will have responsibility for the accurate and timely accounting of operational transactions for a number of businesses. This is a crucial finance role that will be part of the Group Finance team, working with senior operational staff across the business.

The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:

Preparation of relevant balance sheets, including reconciliations
Supporting on the external audit by ensuring robust reconciliations and support is in place
Accruals and prepayments
Ad hoc project work
Budgeting and forecasting
Support on ensuring accurate reporting in management accounts
Financial analysis

The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:

Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience)
Good knowledge of accounting principles and their appropriate application
Self-starter and able to work autonomously
Strong time management and the ability to prioritise

This is a 3-6 month role and will require an immediate start.
