A leading Civil Engineering Main Contractor are actively seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position based near Glasgow.

Our client:

* The client is a Main Contractor primarily within large civil engineering projects in Scotland;

* Projects within Water, Marine, Power and other heavy Civils;

* Prominent and well respected Contractor with the Scottish Civil Engineering sector;

* Due to on-going and future secure contracts, this is an excellent opportunity to join a strong Commercial team.

What you’ll be doing:

* Commercial management of a portfolio of projects

* Providing transparent, accurate and timely commercial reporting

* Manage a team of 6 or 7 from Commercial Admin to Senior QS

* Demonstrating the highest levels of commercial integrity and financial self-assurance;

What you’ll need to be successful:

* The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified.

* Min 5 years Experience in civil engineering projects.

* Must have previous NEC contract experience.
