Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Salary: £42,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical engineer to join our team at a prestigious contract based in Thamesmead. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a brand-new environment within a close-knit, supportive team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the electrical and general systems across the site.
This role offers a competitive salary of £42,000 per annum, plenty of overtime opportunity and progression
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on all electrical systems, including lighting, power, and distribution systems.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults promptly, ensuring minimal downtime for the facility.
* Working on Simmtronic Lighting Systems
* Monitoring BMS systems (Siemens)
* Able to aide in completing compliance and paperwork
* Training Apprentice to become a fully competent engineer
* Work collaboratively with the on-site maintenance team to address general building maintenance issues as needed.
* Carry out small installation works and upgrades where required.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and any relevant reporting.
* Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support when necessary.
Requirements:
* Level 3 Electrical Qualification (essential).
* Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or industrial environment.
* Knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work well within a small team and independently.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Full understanding of health and safety protocols.
