Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a vibrant primary school near Great Portland Street station. This role involves working half days from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, providing essential support to children with Autism and one child with Down syndrome.

Setting: Primary school, 2 form entry
Students: Children with Autism and one child with Down syndrome

SEN Teacher - Role Overview:

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of your students. You will work closely with other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

SEN Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver lessons that cater to the individual needs of children with Autism and Down syndrome
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure effective learning
Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children's progress
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities

SEN Teacher - Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with children with Autism and Down syndrome
Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
