Pay rate: From £17.96 per hour PAYE, Umbrella rates available.

Location: Torness

Hours of work: Mon - Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm

Our client, a leader in Nuclear Generation require a Materials Analyst to join their team on site at Torness. Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a knack for managing inventory and procurement? Join our client as a Materials Analyst/Controller and take on a pivotal role in ensuring the plant operates at peak efficiency.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and stay organized under pressureRole information:

Oversee purchasing of stock items and manage repairable services.
Lead the stock replenishment process, from RFQ to delivery.
Serve as the primary contact for materials replenishment on-site.
Facilitate the materials plan through proactive communication with internal teams.
Ensure timely delivery of materials while keeping stock levels optimized.
Adapt to operational priorities and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
Control stock value to align with company objectives.
Analyse fleet stockholding to refine stocking and procurement strategies.
