With a new Head Chef and exciting menu, our client is looking for a dynamic 2nd Chef to join a thriving kitchen to deliver a 5* dining experience for their customers.

As a 2nd Chef you will:

* Support the Head Chef in managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support when required

* Assist with menu development

* Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards

* Assist with inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen

* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

* Manage food costs by minimizing waste and implementing cost-saving measures

Experience:

* Proven experience working as a 2nd Chef / Sous Chef

* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavors, and presentation

* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

* Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail

* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and management
