We are proud to be working with our client, a leading research institution in London on the hunt for a Licensed Animal Technician to join their expanding team.

As Licensed Animal Technician, you will join a motivated team of Scientists and Animal Technicians to improve the understanding of cancer biology. Your role will include supporting preclinical work using mouse models.

Main duties:

* To carry out procedures under the authority of the relevant Home Office personal and project

* Dosing and treatment administration

* Reporting observations to the relevant people

* To record levels of achievement and expertise

* To ensure adequate provision of food and water

Person Specification:

* PIL A-C with rodents

* Several years of experience in the industry

* Skills for handling preclinical research mice models

* Ability to conduct basic surgery in particular castration and implantation of tumour tissue

* Must have experience in conducting dosing
