Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic Orthopaedics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist assessment and treatment for patients recovering from orthopaedic surgery, trauma, or elective procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across pre- and post-operative orthopaedic pathways

*

Work closely with physiotherapists, surgeons, and nursing staff to support discharge planning and rehabilitation

*

Complete functional assessments and provide tailored interventions including adaptive equipment and home environment recommendations

*

Contribute to service development and clinical supervision within the OT team

Requirements:

*

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

*

Experience working within an acute orthopaedic setting

*

Excellent communication and MDT collaboration skills

*

Ability to manage a varied caseload and work autonomously
