We are looking for a highly skilled SEO Officer to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate must be SGN-approved or Cadent-approved and have previous experience in a similar role within the utilities or energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all on-site SEO activities for construction and utility projects
Ensure that all SEO processes comply with SGN/Cadent standards
Conduct regular audits, providing recommendations to improve search engine performance
Collaborate with teams to optimize content, site architecture, and backlinks
Monitor SEO performance metrics and provide actionable insights
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations

Essential Requirements:

SGN or Cadent approval (essential)
Proven experience in a similar SEO role, preferably within the utilities or energy sectors
Strong understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and technical SEO
Ability to work independently and deliver results on time
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
