Class 1 General Haulage Driver

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a skilled and experienced **Class 1 General Haulage Driver** to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles to transport goods across local, regional, and national routes.
- Adhere to all driving regulations and compliance requirements.
- Perform vehicle checks before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness.
- Secure and ensure the safe transportation of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any relevant documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team to provide updates on delivery progress.
- Handle goods with care, ensuring they are delivered undamaged.
- Occasionally assist with loading and unloading.

**Requirements:**
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
- Up-to-date CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
- Proven experience in general haulage or similar work.
- Strong understanding of driving laws, health & safety, and tachograph regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours and shifts, including weekends or nights, if required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
