Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Pay Rate: £13.96 per hour
Contract: Minimum 8-week placement, with potential for extension on a month-by-month basis
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00
Hybrid: 2 days from home, 3 days in the office
Multitask Personnel are recruiting for a Housing Officer to cover the central geographical area of Doncaster. Experience with Anti-Social Behaviour is required.
Job Purpose:
As a Housing Officer, you will be part of an area-based housing team providing comprehensive estate and tenancy management services. You will support tenancy enforcement and assist in creating strong, sustainable communities within a defined geographical area. This includes visiting tenants daily and attending local meetings with partners and the public to address local issues.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Work closely with agencies such as South Yorkshire Police, DMBC area teams, health services, and adult/children’s services to address local issues, maintain safe and sustainable estates, and engage in community activities.
Respond promptly to complaints regarding anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches within company timescales, following the Tenancy and Estate Management Policy.
Provide regular updates to complainants and associated parties on the progress of cases through personal contact or multi-agency meetings.
Take appropriate tenancy enforcement action against tenants in breach of their agreement, utilizing available tools and powers.
Maintain accurate and detailed records in the housing management IT system to ensure all actions and information are properly documented and audited.
Qualifications & Skills:
NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care, Housing, and/or Administration – Desirable
Knowledge of housing management, particularly tenancy and estate management
Basic understanding of housing legislation and tenancy enforcement
Full UK Driving Licence is required
