Tech Connect Group are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Quality professional to make a significant impact on our customers' reputation and success within Precision Engineering.

Responsibilities:

* Quality Assurance Leadership: Lead and oversee all aspects of the quality assurance process, ensuring that products meet or exceed established quality standards.

* uytreQuality Control: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control processes, procedures, and standards to monitor and evaluate production output.

* Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and quality. Implement process enhancements and monitor their effectiveness.

* Quality Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for quality standards, including inspection procedures, quality control plans, and work instructions.

* Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into all phases of production, from design to final product inspection.

* Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into quality issues, conducting root cause analysis to identify and address the underlying causes. Implement robust corrective and preventive actions as needed.

* Supplier Quality: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components. Implement supplier quality audits as necessary.

* Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to production personnel to ensure they are aware of and can adhere to quality standards, processes and procedures.

* Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with industry regulations and standards related to quality and safety. Ensure the organisation's compliance with relevant requirements.

* Data Analysis: Utilise data and statistical tools to analyse quality trends, identify patterns, and drive data-driven decision-making to improve quality.

* Quality Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance to senior management, highlighting areas of improvement and progress.

* Health and Safety: Implement and sustain, with continuous improvement, Health and Safety to industry and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management) or equivalent experience.

Minimum Additional Training:

Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma or practical problem solving) is preferred.

Essential Skills:

* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

* Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies.

* In-depth knowledge of quality control standards and regulations.

* Strong communication and presentation skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.

* Exceptional attention to detail.

* Experience with quality management software and data analysis tools.

* Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in quality
