Our client are a medium sized engineering firm who specialise in the sheet metal industry who are looking to recruit an experienced sheet metal worker to join the team on a permanent basis.
38 hour week
1.5 time overtime

8-4 Mon to Thursday
8-2 Friday
Christmas Bonus 3-5%
Sheet metal worker-
NVQ Level 3 – time served fab and weld thin plate
(Commutable from: Blackburn, Rochdale, Bolton, Preston, Wigan, Bury, Manchester, Halifax)
* Fabrication of sheet metal ductwork, hoods and a variety of other sheet metal products
* Using plasma, folder and rollers
* Understand and interpret manufacturing drawings & drawing packs
* Ability to measure, mark up and fabricate own work without supervision
* Use of hand tools and all usual sheet metalwork equipment
* Use of other machinery required to manufacture - lock former drill, spot welder etc
* Various welding experience and techniques as part of day to day job
* Able to fab up and prepare large parts for welders- bends, reducers etc
£16 per hour
The role is on days and is permanent from day one. For a skilled sheet metal worker the pay is negotiable dependent on skill test.
