Job Description:
TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated male Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a supportive and nurturing school environment based in Dulverton.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 support to meet the child’s individual needs.
Assist in creating an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere.
Collaborate with teachers, SEND coordinators, and parents to ensure consistent progress.
Foster social, emotional, and academic development.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEND (preferred but not essential).
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
A positive, nurturing attitude and strong communication skills.
Ability to build trust and rapport with the child.
