Morgan King Construction - Mechanical & Electrical are currently recruiting for a family-run renewable solutions company specialising in bespoke heating and solar solutions for both domestic and commercial projects.
Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project management, estimating and quoting.
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
* Inspect electrical components like transformers and circuit breakers.
* Diagnose and solve electrical problems using testing devices.
* Perform wiring, equipment, and fixture repairs or replacements.
* Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
* Collaborate with construction teams to deliver electrical solutions.
* Lead Solar PV installations and heat pump wiring projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience as a qualified Electrician.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services).
* 18th Edition qualified.
* Experience with EICR inspections and rectifications.
* Qualified in Solar PV inverter and battery systems installation.
* Experience with air source heat pump wiring.
* EV charger installation qualification is a plus.
* Minimum of 3 years of electrical experience (Solar installation experience preferred).
