Job Description: As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of refurbishment projects. Your primary duties will include:

* Analysing project plans and specifications to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.

* Visiting project sites to gather information and assess the scope of work.

* Collaborating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.

* Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and contractors.

* Preparing and presenting estimates to clients and stakeholders.

* Monitoring project costs to ensure alignment with estimates.

* Adjusting estimates as necessary to reflect changes in project scope or conditions.

* Maintaining detailed records of all estimates and related documentation.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably in the healthcare sector.

* Extensive knowledge of refurbishment projects, particularly in hospitals, care homes, and retirement villages.

* Experience estimating costs for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and canteens.

* Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

* Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
