Immediate requirement for Electrical Appointed Person for a Highways project with a tier 1 contractor in the Southampton area until December:

Qualifications/experience required: 

Must hold a valid HERS Electrician’s Card.
Proven experience in Testing & Inspection on National Highways Schemes.
Strong ability to interpret Line / As-Fitted Drawings.
Proficient in understanding Schematic Drawings of Technology Assets.
Comprehensive knowledge of PAS 128, including the necessary stages to be confirmed before work commences.
Experience in preparing Dynamic Risk Assessments (RA), Activity Plans, and Permits to Work (PTW).
Must hold a valid NH Passport.
Must possess a full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and oversee work locations where other contractors are involved.
Must hold a valid Underground Services Location Qualification (CAT & GENNY) with practical experience in carrying out this activity.Scope of Work:
Identify and track both chartered and unchartered services within the work area.
Perform disconnection and isolation of electrical circuits.
Issue relevant documentation, including Dynamic RAMS, PTW, Isolation, and Re-Energisation Certificates.
Update Live Tracker Drawings with any modifications or changes.
Liaise with the Project Technology Lead to ensure alignment with project goals.
Attend weekly progress meetings to provide programme updates.
Manage unchartered/unknown service discoveries by identifying, verifying, cutting, and removing them while updating relevant drawings.
Assist in removing redundant cabling from the network.
Reinstate disconnected or newly installed cabling, ensuring proper termination and testing.
Issue Re-Energisation Documents and Test Certificates following successful cabling works
