What You’ll Be Doing:

Servicing, repairing, and installing 
diesel generators

up to 2MVA.
Diagnosing and resolving faults on 
electrical systems, control systems, and switchgear

.
Installing new standby generators for 
residential and commercial

clients.
Upgrading and retrofitting control systems, including remote monitoring solutions.
Mentoring and supporting junior engineers, sharing your expertise and helping them grow.
Working directly with clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring top-level service.
Driving continuous improvement within field operations.

What You Bring to the Team:✔
Extensive electrical engineering experience with diesel generators

– you know your way around power systems, combustion engines, and control panels.

At least 8 years’ industry experience

in power generation, critical power, or related fields.

Strong problem-solving skills

– diagnosing faults and coming up with effective solutions is second nature to you.

A passion for mentoring

– you enjoy coaching junior engineers and sharing your knowledge.

Customer-facing experience

– building rapport and maintaining great relationships with clients.

Self-motivated and organised

– you take pride in managing your workload efficiently without needing to be micromanaged.

A full UK driving licence

– as this role is field-based.
