Are you a technically strong Group Financial Accountant who is looking for a new role that will support the FD in a significant growth business?

As a PE backed business, growing in complexity, with £1bn of debt funding, we are looking for someone to own and lead the day-to-day accounting transactions of the business, linking our financial strategy with the relevant international accounting standards to ensure compliance, whilst providing strong leadership of year-end audit purposes for the Group. This role involves financial analysis, risk management, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

You will be ACA or ACCA qualified. You will also have an Audit background; it is key that you bring strong technical understanding of International Accounting Standards and IFRS (eg IFRS 15 and 16 are particularly relevant to our business).

Note: this is a hybrid role and would be based 3 days per week at our Head Office in Abingdon, Oxon.

Previous people management is also important and you will enjoy the satisfaction of mentoring and developing a group of studying accountants.

Our business is growing in complexity and there will be multiple projects to get involved in as well as the business as usual.
