Becky at JT Recruit is working partnership with a fabulous service provider who have over 20 years’ experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Service Manager to join their dynamic and growing team in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, which is a new 4-bed supported living service, the first service outside of London.

For over 20 years they have been specialising in supported living for adults with autism. Providing personalised assistance and guidance in more independent living arrangement, helping individuals with ASD lead fulfilling lives, whilst maintain a degree of autonomy. They currently have nine services located in West and South London and now Derbyshire.

They provide exceptional, person-centred care for adults with autism, learning difficulties, and other complex needs. They empower individuals to live as independently as possible, helping them overcome daily challenges and build fulfilling lives. Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the day-to-day operations of a supported living home for adults with autism and complex needs.

* Ensure a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for service users, while promoting independence and personal growth.

* Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team of support staff, ensuring high-quality care is always provided.

* Manage challenging behaviour, implementing positive behaviour support strategies and handling incidents as needed.

* Drive the company vehicle when required, ensuring the vehicle’s safety and maintenance.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Requirements:

* Qualifications: Level 5 Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

* Experience: At least 2 years of management experience in a care or support setting, with a strong background in autism support and managing challenging behaviours.

* Skills: Proven leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact.

* Driving: Full UK Manual Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications:

* Education: A degree in Psychology or a related field.

Shift Details:

* Day, night, and overnight shifts available.
