Are you an enthusiastic and ambitious individual interested in joining a growing and successful insurance team as a Commercial Motor Claims Handler.

Day to day responsibilities

*

Dealing with phone calls and post advising of claims.

*

FNOL management – ensuring all new claims are monitored and handled.

*

Diary and report maintenance.

*

Matching of all post/diary entries.

*

Ensuring that the Claims Manager is fully aware of all issues or complaints.

*

Ensuring that full compliance of our standards is maintained at all times.

*

Ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations.

*

Ensure all records and communications with clients are accurately recorded and filed in the correct manner.

Person Specification

*

Working knowledge of all the main classes of General Insurance and the CII’s Code of Ethics and GDPR.

*

Must have a minimum of 2 years commercial motor claims experience.

*

Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

*

Excellent client service skills.

*

Good negotiation and broking skills.
