Multi-Skilled Night Engineer

Location: Fleetwood
Salary: £47,500
Hours: 9pm-7am - Monday-Thursday

My client, a leading manufacturer known for its high-quality products and commitment to excellence. They are looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Night Engineer to join their engineering team and help maintain and improve their production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults (80% mechanical, 20% electrical).
Perform planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
Work on a range of equipment, including packaging machinery (vertical bagging experience desirable).
Ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure good housekeeping.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
Assist with training and mentoring apprentices as needed.

About You:

Time-served engineer or equivalent qualification.
Experience in a packaging environment (vertical bagging experience desirable).
Familiarity with Revima equipment (desirable but not essential).
Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production setting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
